“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.”
Hi, I’m Alex, and I’d like to be your guide.
I love this city. I’ve lived here my entire life. People look at me a little funny when I tell them my favorite aspects of this place are the trees, the water, and the green spaces, but I swear it’s true!
Nature is everywhere in NYC. You just need to know where to look for it and you need to be ready to give it your full attention.
As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, I am trained to help you feel comfortable and excited to be out in nature. Even more importantly, I invite you to experience the kind of healing and reconnection that can only happen when you develop a relationship with the earth.
Everyone benefits from being outdoors. Our walks are designed for everybody ages 15 and up.
Plan to bring your family and friends or just sign up to come on your own. Contact me to set up a private walk for your group or just for yourself.
Events are generally held on weekends and are offered rain or shine. If there is a chance of lighting or other severe weather, we will reschedule.
“The demands of work make it hard to get away from that pressure. When we do, our normal escape is to indulge with food, alcohol, or the noise of entertainment. The intentional quiet wandering through nature today was rejuvenating.”
“An eye opening and heart opening experience that I recommend to all. It will change how you see and experience the world and allow you to slow down and tap into natures energy, abundance and power.”

When you think of snow, how do you feel? I think Snow is just magical! There is that surreal silence that comes with snow as it blankets the earth. Each walk is like a cold wet pillow that reveals the prints of our feet as we explore. You see throughout the season we know that there […]
So if you ever come out on one of my walks, you’ll probably do a nature collage. It’s our way of saying “Thank You, Mother Earth”. Reciprocity is important to the land and for our individual selves. So how do we do it?It’s so easy and actually a lot of fun! How simple is it? […]
